Notice

Privacy policy.

Effective 24 August 2026.

Most of Elite Marketing Society is public by design. The place and amount are visible. This policy explains what remains private, who processes payment data, and how long information is kept.

Who this covers

This policy applies to anyone who visits Elite Marketing Society, claims a place, or has an email stored in connection with a paid place. The operator of this site (“Elite Marketing Society”, “we”) runs the board and sells the public placement. When Stripe Checkout is connected, Stripe processes the payment and has its own privacy policy for card and PayPal data.

What is public

A listing shows its place, the amount paid in US dollars, the name or URL supplied, its category, its public description and invitation, the destinations attached, any available mark, and the date it was written. Payment amount, place, and time are public. The history of first place is public. Proof pages, badges, and articles published onElite Marketing Society are public.

Email addresses are not shown on the board. Card and PayPal numbers never reach us.

What we store privately

When you pay we require an email. We keep it off the public board to tell you if someone takes your #1, and to write to you about Elite Marketing Society. We do not sell it. We do not share it for advertising. The same address may be remembered in your browser so you do not type it twice.

We also store the listing fields required to operate the board, including the identity key, amount, destinations, Stripe Checkout session, and payment identifiers. Operational visitor heartbeats and listing interaction records may include a visitor identifier used to count unique interactions. Aggregate traffic and popularity figures are available only to authorised administrators.

Visitors and local storage

There is no account. A random visitor id is created in your browser (local storage) so we can record operational visitor heartbeats and listing clicks. It is not a name. Clearing site data creates a new id. We do not use it to follow you on other sites. These records are not shown as public visitor or popularity totals.

Checkout fetch

When you submit a destination, we may fetch it once to obtain a title, description, and image. We store those fields rather than the full page. Social marks may be loaded from a public avatar service. We do not log into your accounts.

Payment

Stripe Checkout receives the amount, your checkout email, and metadata needed to write the row after the session is paid. Stripe processes the card or PayPal. We never see the number. We publish a place only after a signed webhook confirms the payment status.

Mail

If mail is configured, we may notify you when a higher place is claimed. We may also write about Elite Marketing Society to the address provided at payment. You may ask us to stop promotional mail. Operational notices remain part of managing the place you purchased.

How long

Public listings stay until they are removed under the rules or acceptable use. Visitor heartbeats for live counts expire in minutes. Unique-visit history is kept to produce administrator traffic and popularity counts. Emails stay while we need them for notices and the paid row. You may ask us to delete or correct an email that is not required to keep a paid listing honest.

Processors

Stripe processes payments. See Stripe’s privacy policy. If mail is enabled, Resend delivers operational notices and product mail. The site may be hosted on infrastructure appointed by the operator. Browsers load fonts and may load remote images supplied by a listing.

Your rights

You may ask what email we hold for a place, ask us to stop promotional mail, or ask us to remove a listing you purchased. Removing a listing removes its place from the board. Payment remains governed by the refunds. Write from the address used at checkout. Questions about payment processing may also be directed to Stripe. We do not currently run targeted advertising or sell personal information.

Children

Elite Marketing Society is not directed at children. You must be 18 to purchase a place. Stripe does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way we will update the effective date on this page. The current version is the one that applies.
